Despite the miles, her heart remains in Alabama, where she cherishes frequent visits with her son, grandson, and granddaughter.

For over four decades, Rhonda-Kay has influenced education, dedicating the last 25 years to shaping young minds at Andrew J. Mitchell Elementary School in Boulder City, Nevada. Her steadfast dedication earned her the prestigious 2016 American Graduate Champion award from Las Vegas PBS, acknowledging her profound impact on countless students.

With four books to her name, including "Firecat Rescue, that was illustrated by Salvacion "Roselle" Reyes, Rhonda-Kay’s latest work, "Finley's Enchanted Garden," captivates young readers aged 5 to 8, inspiring courage, perseverance, and the power of dreams.
